Inserting the Backup Batteries

To avoid having to adjust the device settings again after a power failure or

the device being disconnecting from the mains, you can use backup

batteries (not supplied). Proceed as follows:

 Disconnect the device from the mains.

 Open the battery compartment [14] on the bottom of the device.

 Insert two AAA batteries into the battery compartment, making sure

the polarity is correct. Note the + and – icons on the batteries and

inside the battery compartment (see diagram).

 Close the battery compartment.

 Reconnect the device to the mains.

Remove the batteries when the device is not to be used

for an extended period.
